Offset Printing:  At Print Docs we use offset lithography (offset printing) for all printed projects. Offset printing is a widely used printing technique. The process is actually  fairly simple;  ink is transferred (offset) from plate to a rubber blanket and blanket to the printing surface. The process is based on the repulsion of oil and water. The area of the plate that needs to hold ink repels water and the area that needs to stay ink free attracts water.

Advantages of offset printing include consistent high quality image with quick and easy production of plates. The plates are not reversed, which makes it easy to proof read prior to printing.
