Print Docs is a small commercial printer located in Topeka, KS. We opened our store in Barrington Village on March 1st, 2007. Print Docs is owned by Daniel M. Graffeo. Dan has been a business owner in Topeka for over 30 years, he currently owns and operates TMI Corp. (our parent company). Dan has experienced all sides of the business industry from wholesale to retail, from manufacturing to distribution.
TMI Corp. is a Timelock manufacturer, distributor and repair center of Timelocks. As with many companies TMI spent thousands of dollars each year on printing and when the opportunity to purchase printing equipment from a local printer presented itself, it just made sense.
A lot of thought went into our tag line. It reflects our customer philosophy for the occasional walk-in customer to the business owner that orders printing on a consistent basis. We believe that if our customers are successful, then we will be successful. We will strive at all levels to help our customers gain or maintain their personal or business image.
The letterhead, envelopes and business cards you hand out or mail are a direct reflection of your business or organization. We will preserve that image with consistent, high quality printing every time you order from us. Providing you with ideas or suggestions that will improve new or existing projects is part of every order you give us. Let our expertise work for you.
At Print Docs we strive for good quality work within a reasonable turnaround time. Most projects can go from design to finished product in 2-4 days. Some emergency projects can be completed in three-hours or less. Special, high-tech projects may take as long as 10 business days. This is generally because the project is complex and requires either more design time, multiple proofs, or multiple bindery processes. Most thermographed (raised ink) projects will take up to 10 days.
We have decided not to use the printer’s motto of “Never say No.” Many printers, especially the smaller ones will try to take on a job that they are unable to handle. This can lead to a poor finished project and missed deadlines. The results are usually disastrous for all concerned parties. We choose not to employ this practice. If you come to us with a project and we feel we cannot perform to your satisfaction we will advise you accordingly.
